What are some fun places to travel to in Mexico from from Phoenix, Arizona?
I don’t want to travel too far, but I didn’t know if there were any fun towns across the border that were close.

If you want to do something different that’s off the well-trodden path, go to Palomas, Mexico. It’s about 6 hours southeast of Phoenix, and it is across from Columbus, New Mexico. The town has places that sell prescription eyeglasses that are REALLY cheap! There’s also great shopping! If you want to avoid the normal high pressure sales that you expect in Mexico, go to the Pink Store. They have a great variety of things to choose from, and they sell awesome souvenirs. The Pink Store has a great restaurant too! You also get a free margarita just for shopping there. I would highly recommend checking it out!
