Tiananmen Square, Largest City Square in the world

Tiananmen is a name of square but you must know the country where it is located. This is located in the capital city of Beijing, China and the gate is named for Tiananmen gate. This gate is also called the gate of heavenly peace. This is located in the north side of Beijing very close to the Forbidden City which is another attraction for world tourist.

However, you will be surprised to hear that this place was not so big in 1950s, after that time this place was extended four times and at present this is the best and largest city square in the earth covering 440,000 m² – 880m by 500m. This is also represents many Chinese cultural history, so for this reason Tiananmen very important historical place to Chinese history and Chinese people as well.
