Ten Interesting Myths of Great Wall

Great wall is one of the most outstanding man made structure in the world from ancient time to today. In this post I intended to focus on ten interesting facts of this great structure.

10. There are many watchtowers along the Great Wall. Watchtower is one of the most important attractions of Great wall. However, it is surprising that these towers are built at regular intervals and height up to 40 tall. These were used for lookouts and fortresses, garrisons for troops and store house. They were also used as signal post by beaconing, firing or using flag. These watch towers are not same each of the watch towers varies from each other.

9. Many parts of Great Wall is enclosed by defensive moats, these were either covered with water or kept as ditches.
