Solar flare, 2012

What is solar flare? The system is actually the explosion in the sun’s surface which produces huge energy that can be 6 × 1025 joules of energy. However, if the same event happens in the other stars, it is called stellar flare.

Do you know about Solar Flare 2012? The earth may be going to face gigantic firework in 2012. The sun is coming to its highest position in 2012. Many specialists are expecting that the upcoming solar flare will be brighter than the solar flare in 2002-2003. Many solar physicists already started to count the day of this event and waiting to see how their prediction come in true. What do you think? Do we need to worry about it?

This explosion can change all layers of solar atmosphere like photosphere, chromosphere, and corona, heating heating plasma to tens of millions of kelvins and speeding up electrons, protons, and heavier ions to closer the velocity of light. Radiation is also produced crosswise the electromagnetic range at allwavelengths, from radio waves to gamma rays. Generally, most of the explosion held in active parts around sunspots, where strong magnetic fields pierce the photosphere to link the corona to the solar center. Flares are muscled by the abrupt, timescales of minutes to tens of minutes, discharge of magnetic energy deposited in the corona. If a solar flare is extremely powerful, it can create coronal mass ejections.

Solar physicists say, this is the process of awaking of Sun every after several years from low power or activity.

There are several news about the solar flare 1012. Some of them stated that the earth is going to the last day of it. Do you think the day will be doomsday? We never expect so, there is very less possibility of affecting the earth because there many solar flares on sun since the solar system appeared but there is no harmful evidence of solar flare on earth.

So, there is nothing to worry but surely can expect something very interesting on solar system.
