If you are a regular travel and looking for tips to get cheat hotel room, there are given several very common tips which will help you to find the Cheap hotel with best service.

1. Location of your travel: As you know location determined the rate of hotel room.So, you must decide your location, like if you want to visit china and want to stay in Beijing or Shanghai, it would be expensive then other cities of china. Usually hotel around the travel destination is more expensive, it is better to select a hotel little far from the tourist spot.
So, first of all, you must decide where you want to stay in a country.

2. Schedule or time of traveling: Second most important thing is that the time of your traveling, if you travel peak season, it would be really expensive then off peak season.

3. Services of the hotel-If any hotel provides more facilities it would be more expensive.So, you can choose a hotel that provide affordable service.

4. Negotiation-If are new to a hotel you can bargain the price because there are many hotel which have can reduce the rate with negotiation. Or if you travel in the same place again and again you can make an agreement with a reasonable rate for hotel room.

5. Online resources-Online is the place of vast resource, you can look for the hotel of specific area and compare the rate of different hotel then you can decide on which hotel you are going to stay.

6. Take help from Travel agent: I don't like to recommend travel agent but if you are new to somewhere travel agent can play vital rule providing you relatively cheap hotel and other facilities which you may need time and more money to manage.

Nice list for getting cheap hotel. However, I would like to say online booking. Online searching may be the best solution to manage cheap hotel.

and read several reviews about the hotel. cheap hotels doesn't is not only in terms of price. considers the perks, amenities and if it's worth your money. it might look cheap, but you end up paying more than you should. be an information savvy, it'll get you far.

Is there any cheap hotel? I think they just show they are discounting but reality is different. If you like cheap hotel you will get get good facilities.

So, the cheaper the worse.

I'd like to add three to Daniel's list:

1. Book ahead. Many hotels will give you an early bird discount for making advance room reservations.
2. Instead of a hotel, try top-rated hostels.
3. Take advantage of coupons and promotional discounts. Hotels hold promos every now and then.

Cheap hotels with extremely good facilities are quite rare, but they still exist. One hotel in HK that I can recommend right away is Island Pacific Hotel. :)

You are right, Actually booking ahead is the best way to get cheap hotel room. However, before booking you must compare several hotels on internet then it would be easy to get cheap hotel.

Before your purchase the hotel reservations from the affordable hotel site you should make sure that the hotel is still open first. Search for the hotel on the internet and if you like what you see then go ahead and get it. Just make sure the hotel is real first.

Another way is:
By calling the hotel directly, you can frequently get a lower rate than the one advertised on the web. However, you must call the hotel itself, not the national 800 number, to get these rates.
