A Self-Made Aircraft by Chinese Automotive Mechanic
Can you imagine, you are flying with your own made aircraft? I think every people in the world imaging to have fly with airplane to travel around the world but most of the people cannot reach to their dream because of their poverty.
I was surprise reading the news that a Chinese automotive mechanic had a test flight with own made aircraft. Ding Shilu is that man who did this amazing event.
However, this may be very simple compare to present high-tech aircraft but I think his attempt to make the aircraft is really praiseworthy.
He had a test flight in 25-02-11, in a frozen reservoir in Shenyang, Liaoning province. The 130 kg weighted aircraft was made with recycled materials. He used three old motorbike engines and other waste synthetic materials to make the entire body of the aircraft. He also added that it costs around 2600 RMB or $395.
