A Bunch Of Qustions About Japan,?

My friend and I are planning on moving to japan when we finished high school,
but wanted to know everything that is needed to know before i go there, like different things from america and japan. We wanted to live in the Tokyo area A couple questions:
When you are renting a apartment how does the paying go? Like the U.S, where you pay every month? I am a christin, is there any catholic/christin churches there, that might speak english? I was looking at photo of houses, and it said certain Appliances are already in the apartment, like a microwave, ect. Does that mean you don’t buy your own furniture when you live in those type of houses? and any other useful information would be highly appreciated !
